Jonathan Starck is one of our managing Partners of our successful London Practice. He is closely connected with Canterbury having completed his Law Degree at The University of Kent and his local connections and increasing number of clients prompted the firm’s decision to bring Jonathan’s tenacious and dynamic client care skills to clients in Canterbury and the surrounding areas. As a Solicitor-Advocate, Jonathan heads the Litigation Department and is able to advance the case of any commercial or individual client in any Court in England and Wales. His approach to litigation is client-focused.
He provides pragmatic and commercial advice on the merits of a case and prospects of success at an early stage. This will help you make informed and sensible decisions prior to considering legal action. He has a track record of resolving disputes favourably and to the satisfaction of his clients. He has dealt with a wide spectrum of cases in civil and criminal litigation at all levels. He regularly represents clients in the Magistrates, Crown and County Courts.
In recent years, he has consistently conducted litigation in the High Court of Justice including securing injunctions; conducting possession proceedings in relation to extensive property portfolios; obtaining multi-million-pound financial orders for his clients and orders that his clients’ costs of litigation be reimbursed to them from opposing parties. He also conducts applications for Judicial Review of ministerial decisions and European Court of Human Rights litigation. Jonathan has consistently had success in the Court of Appeal when it has been necessary to advance a case to that level.
