Dispute with Leasehold Management Complaint

Leasehold remortgage

The property in this matter is an apartment in the heart of Westminster with a value in excess of £3m. The management company, represented by Wallace LLP, asserted that our client was in breach of his lease as a result of failing to covering the flooring in carpet. The factual matrix of this case was of interest as this claim was defended partly on the basis that consent has been given on behalf of the management company for alternative flooring. Advice has been sought from Falcon Chambers and we await the outcome of a recent AGM.
