Our firm was established in 2011 by long standing university friends, Jonathan Starck and Raminder Singh Uberoi. Jonathan heads our litigation department and is a solicitor-advocate who is able to advance the case of any commercial or individual client in any court within England and Wales. Raminder heads the property team across our offices and is a Notary Public. We have grown into a 5-partner practice with a team of over 30 members of staff . The team are located in four offices across London plus a team of lawyers based in our prestigious Canterbury Cathedral office. As a result, our solicitors share an enormous breadth of experience and expertise which allows us to provide excellent legal services across a wide range of different areas of the law.

While we pride ourselves on our efficiency, our care for our customers extends far beyond just handling their matter. We aim to create long standing relationships built on trust with our client so that they know they can come to us again for quick and reliable assistance – we take the time to get to know each client’s circumstances, as we believe an in-depth understanding allows us to provide a better and more bespoke service.

We are recognised by the Law Society’s kitemark of excellence, Lexcel (Legal Practice Quality Mark), which denotes our high standard of work across our departments. Our Wills and Probate department have received Law Society accreditation by WIQS (the Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme) and our Conveyancing department has received accreditation from CQS (Conveyancing Quality Scheme). These accreditations highlight our firm’s commitment to maintaining quality and professionalism in these specialised areas of law.

Our coat of arms, symbolic of our values, has been used since 1617, when it was granted to Jonathan Starck’s ancestor by King James I following his donation to the newly founded Bodleian Library, Oxford. He wrote of the fruitful union between theory and practice, a principle we bring to every client we represent.

Community Engagement

Our Responsibility Beyond the Office

Outside of the office we take our social responsibility very seriously. We offer free will services through Amnesty International’s Free Wills campaign and also support the work of Khalsa Aid and the Churches Conservation Trust. We are also keen to donate to various “Just Giving” pages suggested by our staff and clients.
